Currier Earns D3Baseball.com All-American Status

SALEM, Mass. - After being named to the D3baseball.com All-Region II First Team, Nolan Currier (Maynard, Mass.) garnered D3baseball.com Fifth-Team All-American status, as announced by D3baseball.com on Thursday, May 28. He becomes just the fourth Viking to earn All-American honors and the first since 2016 when Richard Fecteau was named a D3baseball.com Pre-Season All-American.

SALEM, Mass. - The Salem State baseball team capped off its regular season by splitting a doubleheader against Westfield State by taking the first game, 4-3, but unfortunately dropping the second, 7-6, Saturday afternoon. Before the contest, the Vikings honored their five seniors on senior day. Salem State and the baseball team would like to thank Owen Duggan (Billerica, Mass.), Aidan Lynch (North Andover, Mass.), Lucas Rincon (Revere, Mass.), Ryan Bourgeois (Nashua, N.H.), and Devin Fuegen (Wolcott, Conn.) for their dedication to the Salem State baseball program throughout their careers!

Athletics Shatters Viking Warrior Day Record

SALEM, Mass. - Behind the generous support of 363 donors, Salem State University Athletics raised $31,132 during the annual 1,854-minute Viking Warrior Day campaign, setting a new program record for dollars raised in the nine-year history of the event. The University as a whole raised $188,832 with 743 donors, with Athletics accounting for nearly 48 percent of the total donors to the campaign.
