Athlete Spotlight: Anna Frost
SALEM, Mass. -- This week's athlete spotlight features Anna Frost (Ada, Mich.), who was named the MASCAC Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week, after scoring the eventual game-winner in the Vikings' 3-0 victory over Mass Maritime and helped stymie the Charger's offense in the 0-0 tie vs. Colby Sawyer.
Can you talk about your performance this past week that led to your player of the week award?
I am constantly striving to be the best I can in every situation in front of me. Always creating good opportunities in the final third for teammates and acting on set pieces
Are there any short-term goals you'd like to accomplish this season?
Being able to score more off set pieces in the future.
Which strengths do you believe you have that make you a great athlete?
Great communication, decision making, attitude, love for the sport.
Is there a coach/athlete or someone outside of sports that you look up to as a role model?
My parents.
What's the best piece of advice you've gained from your coaches?
Hard work pays off.
How would your coaches and teammates describe you?
Caring, accepting, hard working, passionate, encouraging and positive.
Is there an interesting fact that most people don't know about you?
I am a lefty.
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of sports?
Outside of sports I love to go snowboarding and love the outdoors.
