Senior forward Cerissa Grasso (Lynnfield) was one of six Lady Vikings who were recognized as either first or second team all-star selections by a vote of the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's soccer head coaches.
Grasso, who earned All-MASCAC honors for a third time, was chosen to the 2007 All-MASCAC second team along with junior defender Keira Lyons (Salem) and freshman midfielder Katy Verette (Saugus).
SSC first team All-MASCAC members included senior goalkeeper Abby DeAngelo (Lowell), junior defender Nicole Theberge (Danvers) and freshman midfielder Erin O'Brien (Hanson).
The Lady Vikings, who finished with a 9-8-2 overall record after beginning the season 0-5-1, advanced to the championship match of the MASCAC postseason tournament under second year head coach Nicolle Wood.
