Goncalves Takes Home MASCAC Player of the Week Honors

SALEM, Mass. -- Ernidia Goncalves (Jr., F, Everett, Mass.) was named MASCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week after continuing her dominant play in a 2-0 week for the Vikings, averaging a double-double with 17 points on 53.6% shooting (15-28 FG) and 15.5 rebounds. The junior posted 16 points (6-13 FG), 14 rebounds, and three blocks in a 69-56 victory over Worcester State, then followed it up with an 18-point (9-15 FG), 17-rebound performance in a 77-60 win over Fitchburg State.
