Men's Tennis Earns Three LEC Postseason Honors

LITTLE EAST CONFERENCE OFFICIAL RELEASE

SALEM, Mass. - The Salem State Men's Tennis team saw three student-athletes earn Little East Conference (LEC) honors as announced by the conference earlier Thursday. Quentin Wilkins (Hamilton, Mass.) headlined the group with a spot on the All-LEC First Team for both singles and doubles. Joining Wilkins on doubles was teammate Mark Wood (Lynn, Mass.)Capping off the honors was first-year Ian Ronan (Quincy, Mass.) , who was named to the All-LEC Second Team. 

Wilkins capped off his final year with the Vikings by going 10-3 at No. 1 singles and had a stretch where he won seven matches in a row. During those wins, he had two matches where the opponent did not score more than twice in a set. Throughout the year, Wilkins earned LEC Player of the Week honors twice. In doubles, he and Wood posted a record of 8-5 at No.1 doubles. Earlier in the season, the duo had a four-match win streak. In each of their doubles wins, the duo let up only three or more points once, which was a 7-5 win at the University of New England. 

Rounding out the list of postseason honors was Ronan. In his first year with Salem, he earned nine singles wins. He also had a five-game win streak at the midway point of the season, with only two of those matches going to three sets. He also garnered LEC Rookie of the Week honors once during the 2026 season.
