De Sousa-Vieira Earns MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week Honors

SALEM, Mass. - Graduate forward Iago De Sousa-Vieira (Medford, Mass.) was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference earlier today.

De Sousa-Vieira helped the Vikings go 1-0-1 last week with two goals. After scoring in both games last week, he upped his total to six on the year. In last Wednesday's 1-0 win over UMass Dartmouth, his score in the 67th minute proved to be the eventual game-winner. He is now up to game-winning goals on the year. In the game against Fitchburg, his score was the game-tying goal for the Vikings. 

De Sousa-Vieira and the squad are back in action on Wednesday, October 8, when the Blue and Orange host Clark University at 4:00 p.m.
