Bloomfield, Conn. -- Salem State took 5th place at the Gillette Ridge Invitational hosted by the University of Hartford this weekend at the Gillette Ridge Golf Club. The Vikings produced a two-day card of 645 (+40, +25) led by senior Colin Richmond's 158, who had a team-best +3 on day two and freshman Joe Orlando, who shot a 158, including a +5 (77) on the second day as both players tied for 17th place.
